Barcelona
Your holiday in Spain is never complete if you do not visit Barcelona. Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia. As the second largest city of Spain, Barcelona is one of the busiest places in the country. However, amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life is Barcelona, you can find several interesting things to see and do. You may start your visit with this place by taking a walk down the La Rambla, going to the Sagrada Familia and then winding up to the Barcelona Cathedral. Since the heat is sometimes very oppressive around these areas, you can take breaks in the many cafes that lined up the streets along these areas. Sample some of the wines and local delicacies as you go along.
Madrid
The remarkable city of Madrid is something that you should never miss during your Spain holidays. The city of Old Madrid in particular has some of the most interesting sites in Spain. When you do decide to visit Madrid during your Spain holidays, check out the Museo del Prado and the Placio Real. These places are highly recommended even if you are not really very fond of history. On the other hand, if you are one of those people who love the nightlife, Madrid is simply one of the best places to be when you are in Spain. Madrid comes alive especially at night and there are endless things to do for those who love to party.
Seville
When it comes to splendid architecture, the best choice is the City of Seville. As the capital of Andalusia and the province of Sevilla, Seville is the center of cultural and artistic activities in the southern part of Spain. When visiting Seville during your holiday is Spain, do not forget to visit the Seville Cathedral. This cathedral with its imposing structure is one of the perfect examples of the magnificent old world architecture.
